About us

Anaerialhoop&co started as an adventure between aerial hoop enthusiasts, with one wish: to make this discipline more accessible and to share our knowledge. That adventure gave birth to Spread your wings with Aerial Hoop, the first bilingual French-English aerial hoop book.

I started the hoop at the same time as pole dance and chair dance in 2013, a little by chance. It was love at first sight with this suspended circle! After a few years of practice, I trained with the one and only Sophie Granjon to teach aerial hoop and Pilates for aerial disciplines. Pilates complements my aerial training: it works the deep muscles and helps you build, gently and accessibly, the posture, alignment and strength needed to perform aerial moves. I rounded off these trainings with aerial yoga, which offers another way of approaching aerial arts, combining air with gentle strengthening and self-centring. Finally, in 2022 a professional qualification certificate (CQP ALS AGEE) completed my path, and I am currently training in dance trapeze!

I have been teaching in the Lyon area since 2016. I have strengthened my practice through many workshops and was lucky enough to be selected for the show Time, held in Liège at the end of 2018.

Having spent my childhood in the water, I discovered my new favourite element: the AIR! Passing on my passion and watching my students progress are two things that truly inspire me!

From my very first aerial hoop classes in 2013, I was instantly hooked. I climbed onto the hoop and never really came back down! This clever mix of a full-body sport, dance and artistic expression won me over straight away and still does! I also love the fact that you can have fun and do pretty combos from the very first classes, which is quite rare and surprising! What is also surprising is the number of muscles you never knew you had, which can ache after a training session! But that is the promise of new moves and new combos – in short, new victories!

Through this project, I want to help make aerial hoop more accessible, share my passion and see this discipline grow even more!
